This unbleached cotton and linen blend placemat features the golden Pieni Piirto Unikko pattern, which is printed with metal pigment in Helsinki. The edges of the placemat are finished and sewn onto the backside. The year 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of Unikko, one of the most recognized Marimekko print designs in the world. Piirto Unikko is a stylized, airy variation of the beloved floral created by Maija Isola in 1964. It nods to minimalism while emphasizing the graphic lines of the Unikko pattern.
